Samson began his professional journey at the age of 17, starting as a sales executive with little understanding of workplace dynamics. Driven by the need to support his financial needs, he embraced work with a growth-focused mindset, which propelled his career forward. Within just five years of full-time employment, Samson rose to a leadership role, a testament to his determination and intentional approach to professional development.
Curious about why many talented individuals in the workplace, including those with impressive academic records, struggled with stagnation and dissatisfaction, Samson embarked on a journey of discovery. He questioned the traditional belief that academic success guaranteed workplace achievement—a notion he believed was true until then. Through extensive study, introspection, and observation, he uncovered the keys to professional growth and success.
Motivated by his findings, Samson began teaching and mentoring his colleagues, helping them unlock their potential and achieve growth. Witnessing their transformations brought him immense joy and fulfillment, ultimately inspiring him to expand his impact. This passion led him to establish SmarterYou and author the book The Art of Working.
